Everything around you breathes out cruelty, fear, and intimidation saying- “You cannot make it. You are helpless. You are too weak to make a difference.” Their intent is to stop you and cause you to question your position in Christ.  It is true that they are all high-ranking people that matter- rulers, kings, and authorities. So, given what they know and have, you are threatened and if you do not watch, they will shock you back into the hole of defeat.

But friends, remember, it is not you, but it all has to do with what you stand for and whose mantle you are holding. Yes, it is the mantle of Christ’s kingdom on earth.  You have been given dominion and the mandate to rise and shine for the eternal King of glory in the face of decadence, hopelessness, poverty, and ignorance. Because of this, in face of insurmountable threats, you must rise in the chorus of the King saying: Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against His ANOINTED, saying, “Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us”. Psalm 2:1-3

Here is the fact- We must agree that the rumbling of the heathens and the chanting of their leaders are only a shadow, but the substance is far away from them because the substance remains with the Creator and the Sustainer of all things – He alone is God. It is also absolutely true that He has determined to show who you are for Him and His kingdom this year. A decree has already gone from the throne that you will inherit them and possess the uttermost parts of earth this year on the King’s behalf.

Let me make it plain- The battle, the raging, the rumbling, the chanting, and the spewing out of the deadly flames of threat is not against you – but against the ANOINTED ONE. Therefore, do not worry because He has responded to the Father’s command- “Ask me” and the guarantee from the Throne is “I shall give you.”Therefore, the year 2008 is our year of DOMINION INHERITANCE AND POSSESSION.Peace!
